This is a vintage Meisen
kimono with glamorous flowers pattern, which is woven.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
Doura 'upper lining' is cotton.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has uneven spots of weaving in places, and there are many snags.
There is a hole, 1cm(0.39in) diameter, near a seam of the left sleeve(C), but because of the lining, you may not find it disturbing.
Wrinkles on the bottom and the collar, and smudge on shoulder line may be noticed. (sorry no photos)
Please see photos for the flaws including flaws on lining.
Due to its old age, it has some flaws, but it is a very charming piece to wear.
We would like you to enjoy this glamorous piece.
