This is a vintage Nagoya obi
with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern, which is woven on the vibrant background with 'karaori' (woven thickly in chinese style)-style technique.
Its elegant motifs are designed on the thin textile base as relief.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The stain on the otaiko(square bow) will appear when tied.
It has flaws such as rather prominent folding lines.
