This is an attractive vintage Nagoya obi
with child having a mallet design, which is embroidered.
Its elaborately embroidered design has glossy three-dimensional beauty.
Textile is exquisite glossy silk and has soft touch.
Maegara(front patterned part) is in one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), Maegara will show.
Discoloration can be seen overall, especially the area from upper folding line to lower folding line of otaiko(square bow) is prominent. (not shown on the figure and the photo.)
Although not shown on the figure and the photo, it has smudges on the whole edges and a large blackish stain on the wrong side of 'Maegara'(front patterned part).
Stain on the Maegara is noticeable when tied.
It has other flaws such as fray on the embroidered part.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although there are some flaws, we would like you to enjoy the embroidered vintage design.
