This is a casual Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of such as flying crane and 'Ume' (plum blossom) on fan, which is woven.
Its colorful design looks lovely on the sedate base color.
Textile is thick silk and has rather crisp touch with shining gold threads.
It also has "HATSURIKOU" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi
with tightly folded end of belt part).
It has snags on otaiko(square bow).
Relatively prominent folding lines remain.
It has some other flaws such as discoloration and patinas partly.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Though it has some flaws, we hope you enjoy tying this charming piece!
