This is a Tsume-Tsuzure casual Nagoya obi
with a design of colorful peacock design, which is woven on the vibrant background.
Foil threads woven on the design are elegantly shining.
Textile is rather thick and crisp silk.
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi
with tightly folded end of belt part).
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
There is not folding lines and it seems to be untied one.
There is not prominent flaw.
This elegant piece will be versatile and will come in use both on formal and casual occasions!
