This is a vintage summer Ro Nagoya obi
with a glossy design of 'omodaka' (alisma rhizome) and dragonfly, which is finely embroidered on the shibori (tie-dye) background.
Textile is Ro silk and has textured touch.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied. When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
It has folding lines on triangle part and near of Tesaki. Also, frays can be seen on Tare end and Tesaki.
However, they are not mentioned on the sheet and pictures.
Prominent discoloration can be seen near maegara( front patterned part) of wrong side and it will be noticeable, when tied.
Also, it has prominent discoloration on embroidered parts of Maegara (wrong side), although it is not indicated on the figure.
There are several other flaws.
Please check detail photos.
However, we hope you enjoy this retro vintage design!
