This is a vintage Nagoya obi
with enchanting cranes and 'karabana' (imaginary flower in china) on 'Shikishi'(square paper) motif, which is thickly embroidered.
Its pattern has glossy and dimensional look.
Textile is 'Shusu'(satin) silk.
Maegara is only on one side, and when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
Embroidery part is frayed and fluffed out, some are missing threads. Maegara embroidery is more frayed than Otaiko.
Stain (second photo below the drawing image) is rather noticeable.

Due to its old age, it has some flaws, but it is a very charming vintage piece to wear.
