This is a Tsumugi
kimono with polished 'neji-giku' (twisted 'kiku'(chrysanthemum))-like pattern, which is woven with weft ikat technique.
Its pale gray color is dainty.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and smooth touch.
It's like Oshima Tsumugi.
The lapel is hiro-eri(unfolded).
Letters of 'Kanaianzen' (peace and prosperity in the household) are woven on 'douura' (upper lining).
It has a burned small hole near of right sleeve seam part. (C)
Slight stains such as blackish and brownish can be seen, as figure shown. (B and D)
Also, slight discoloration can be seen.
Please check detail photos.
Also, lining is slightly discolored, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.
However, if these flaws do not bother you, the Kimono could be worn!
