This is an opened Nagoya obi
with a design of jigami'(fan shape), which is dyed with shibori technique.
'Peony' (botan), 'ume'(Japanese plum), 'sasa'(bamboo grass) and phoenix
are embroidered and dyed with gold foils on the design.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven honmon(arranged sayagata pattern) pattern and has soft, but bumpy touch.
Slight folding line can be seen from Tesaki end to star mark of the figure, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.
Discoloration is slight and seems not to be so disturbing.
It has a blackish small stain on blank part. (*It is indicated as snag on the figure.)
Also, there are couple of stains.
Please check detail photos.
However, it still can be tied!
Please enjoy its graceful fashion!
