This is a Nagoya obi
with a patchwork design of jigami'(fan shape).
'Karabana'(imaginary flower in China) is dyed and embroidered with Sagara embroidery work on jigami.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has nubby touch.
Stains of otaiko (A) can be hidden, if you tie neatly.
Discoloration and patinas of Tare end will be rather noticeable, when tied.
Also, it has stains on one side of maegara( front patterned part), although it doesn't have flaw photo.
However, if you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), they can be hidden.
Also, there are folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
However, please enjoy tying this piece casually!
*Base color looks shading, but it's all ivory actually.
