This is a contemporary Kurume Kasuri
cotton kimono with lovely 'kaioke' (a hexagonal container to store clam shells, which are used ancient shell matching game - 'kaiawase' ) pattern, which is woven with weft ikat technique.
Textile is rather thick cotton, but has soft touch.
The lapel is bachi-eri(folded collar).
Lining is polyester.
*It's faded a bit.
Slight discoloration can be seen on shoulder top.
It has a stain by snap on the lining.
Discoloration can be seen on cuffs, although it doesn't have flaw photo.
Please check detail photos.
However, if discoloration mentioned does not bother you, it still may be worn!
