This is an eye-catchy vintage Nagoya obi
with a unique design of 'shiba'(lawn grass) and vibrant mouse, which is finely embroidered with glossy threads.
Textile is silk and jinken (rayon) blends and has crisp touch.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
It has holes, as figure shown. However, they are small and seem not to be so disturbing, when tied.
There are several other flaws.
Please check detail photos.
Also, fabric of Tare end seems to be shrunk a little and wrong side of Tare end comes out slightly.
However, we hope you enjoy this charming vintage design!
