This is a sioze Nagoya obi
with Kaede maples and 'hagi'(bush clover) pattern, which is embroidered.
On both Otaiko and Maegara patterns, silver touch of Kaede maples and flowers silhouettes are accented.
Textile is sioze silk, and it has crisp touch.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara with embroidery will show.
The other side is only with silver silhouettes.
There is a red stain on embroidery side of Maegara and it may be noticed when tied. (sorry no photos)
Smudge on Maegara is also may be noticed.
It has some other flaws, such as discoloration and folding lines on Otaiko pattern, as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
Although it has some flaws as mentioned, it still is a very charming item to wear!
*Background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code*
