This is an antique Furisode
around Meiji Period(1868-1912).
It has a tasteful waterfront scenery design of 'ume'(Japanese plum), iris, 'hagi'(Japanese bush clover) and 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), which is dyed.
Main parts are embroidered.
Hakkake (lower part of lining) has the dyed same design.
Textile is thin silk with woven small diamond pattern and has soft and comfortable touch.
(Lining is transparently seen a little bit from the outside, because of thin fabric.)
The lapel is bachi-eri(folded collar).
It has 3 embroidery kamons.
Discoloration, because of the ole age and light brown stains can be seen.
It has repaired tears around sleeve seam part. (C and E)
Holes can be seen, as figure shown. Holes of right sleeve part of back side are large and rather prominent.(B and X)
Also, minor flaws can be seen on the lining.
Please check detail photos.
It can't be worn at formal occasions, but we hope you enjoy this tasteful design!
