This is a Fukuro obi
with gorgeous flower motifs on dyed square pattern, which are both dyed and embroidered.
Textile is sioze silk with its characteristic soft and smooth texture.
There are relatively prominent smudges on the sides.
(see the 1st photo of flaw photos.)
There is discoloration on the folding lines.
The one at the bottom of 'otaiko'(square bow) is rather prominent.(see the 2nd photo of flaw photos.)
There are some other flaws such as a slight folding line.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
Although it's not mentioned on the sheet and photo, there are a couple of yellowish stains on one side of the 'maegara' (front patterned part).
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), the stains will be hidden.
Although it has sense of wear, Iif you don't mind those minor flaws, it is still in good condition to wear.
Please enjoy this elegant design with Japanese classical motif.
