This is a Meisen
Kimono with unique Nazca Lines-like peacock on tile pattern, which is woven.
Textile is rather glossy silk and has soft and smooth touch.
The lapel is bachi-eri(folded collar).
'Douura' (upper lining) is cotton an hakkake (lower part of lining) is exquisite silk.
Flaws such as discoloration and small patinas, due to its old age can be seen.
It has prominent wear (D).
There is a red dyestuff on left collar part. (B)
It has a slight stain on chest part. (A)
Stains of left front panel are not large, but noticeable.
(F) of left sleeve part is stamp.
It has a rather large stain directly beside of the stamp, although the flaw is not indicated on the figure.
There are other flaws such as small stains on back bodice and smudges of sleeve and hem.
Please check detail photos.
However, if these flaws do not bother you, the Kimono could be worn!
