This is a gorgeous Fukuro obi
with phoenix, 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower) and 'kiri'(paulownia) pattern, which is woven.
Gold foil threads emerge out elegantly against the light gray background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and light touch.
It has rather prominent folding lines.
(Actually it has no lines from the tare end to the star mark on the sheet on the wrong side.)
It has some other flaws such as slight discoloration and tiny snags on 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
