This is a casual Nagoya obi
with a design of royal cart and scenery, which is woven with Tsume tsuzure
Gold foil threads are woven on the sunset-like background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has rather crisp touch.
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi
with tightly folded end of belt part).
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and stiff touch of Tsume tsuzure
There is not folding lines and it seems to be untied one.
However, it has a small stain on bodice part. (It's not disturbing for tying.)
