This is a very adorable vintage Irotomesode
Kimono with a dynamic flower pattern, which is dyed.
It has dyed designs of 'botan'(peony), rose, and butterfly on it and it looks very romantic.
Main parts of flower and butterfly are embroidered.
Textile is glossy silk and has soft touch.
It has damask effect(rinzu) of such as cloud and 'kicho'( partition used by noble people in ancient days) pattern on the base.
The collar is bachi-eri(folded collar), and the sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has a dye kamon(family crest).
There are stains(C) and dyestuffs(D) on such as left front panel.
Also it has other flaws such as wear, and snags on the embroidery of the bottom of back side(F).
Please check detail photos.
It has flaws because of its old age, but it still can be worn as a vintage Kimono!
We hope you enjoy this adorable design unique to vintage!
