This is a Sioze Nagoya obi
with a refined white hibiscus motif, which is dyed.
Gold foils are used for flower outlines.
Textile is sioze silk, and it has soft and smooth touch.
There is a stamp of the dyer on otaiko pattern.
It has a patina on one side of maegara( front patterned part).
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), it will show.
However, if you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), it can be hidden.
There are several other flaws such as folding lines, smudge and a small snag.
Please check detail photos.
However, it still can be tied!
Please enjoy its sophisticated fashion!
