This is a classical Fukuro obi
with 'michinaga-dori'(wavy line) and 'shikishi'(square paper) patterns, which are woven.
'Housouge'(large karabana flower) and 'mukai-zuru'(pair cranes) diamond are designed on Shikishi pattern.
Textile is rather glossy silk and has soft touch.
(Lining is not added inside.)
Rather prominent patinas can be seen in places such as white pattern parts. (the 2nd flaw photo)
There are other couple of flaws such as folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
It has aged feeling, but there is not very serious damage for wearing.
Please enjoy this graceful design from Japanese classical motif.
