This is a glamorous Nagoya obi
with 'manju-giku'(manju shaped chrysanthemum) motifs, which are woven.
Silver foil threads woven in the weft yarn of the base shine elegantly.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature below the otaiko(square bow).
Though not indicated, it has reddish dyestuffs on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) in case of rotating obi clockwise, and some stains upper tare end.
It has many greenish mold on 'Maegara', and some on otaiko though not indicated.
The stains on 'Maegara' is relatively noticeable when tied.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
