This is a Houmongi
Kimono with a design of dyed graceful 'susuki'(Japanese silver grass) and embroidered 'tanzaku'(strip of paper).
'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'hagi'(Japanese bush clover) and 'kikyou'(balloon flower) are designed on Tanzaku.
Drawn work is partly done.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven Sayagata pattern and has soft touch. Also, wood grain-like pattern is dyed.
The lapel is hiro-eri(unfolded).
It has light brown stains, as figure shown. (B)
Discoloration (C) is quite slight.
Also, slight discoloration can be seen on the lining.
Please check detail photos.
However, if these flaws do not bother you, the Kimono could be worn at formal occasions.
We hope you enjoy this alluring design!
