This is a graceful Fukuro obi
with butterfly on 'sakura'(cherry blossom) design, which is woven.
Its beauty is changing by angle, which is really zestful.
Textile is exquisite silk, and it is soft and light.
It has an empty space on gold foil threads near butterfly design of one side of maegara (front pattern).
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), its flaw will be on wrong side.(A)
On both edges of downside otaiko, maegara, and tesaki, some threads fluffed out because of fray.
(* It is indicated that it is only downside otaiko on the figure.)
Also there are two tiny snags and a small stain on otaiko.
Besides there are other flaws such as slight folding line, so please check detail photos.
Although there is no figure and photo,
there are two uneven lines of weaving-like black lines on one side of maegara.
There are couple of flaws, but they are not disturbing for wearing.
Please enjoy this elegant yet adorable classical design!
