This is a gorgeous Nagoya obi
with a design of elegant 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) on 'doukyo'(copper mirror), which is woven.
Gold and silver foil threads are woven on the design.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has rather large stains on one of maegara( front patterned part).
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), the stains show, but if you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), the stains can be hidden.
Stains of otaiko may bit come out positionally, but they are small and seem not to be so disturbing.
There are several other flaws such as folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
However, we hope you enjoy tying this polished piece!
