This is a graceful Houmongi
kimono with exotic 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) motifs, which are dyed.
The gold glazing shines gracefully on the chic background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
Beside the snag, it has discoloration on its base.
The discoloration on the back is relatively slight, but prominent on the right back sleeve (B).
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
However, if these flaws do not bother you, it could be worn on the formal occasions.
It is still a valuable piece to enjoy its graceful design.
