This is an unique Houmongi
kimono with a snake motif on the chest and boar motif on the bottom, which is dyed.
They can be said to be natural enemy.
The snake and boar that are looking up may be expressed as lucky charm of the opposite Eto (Chinese astrological calendar) cycle.
Embroidery work is added slightly.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven hazy mist pattern and has soft touch.
Beside the prominent discoloration on its base, it has some flaws such as tiny stains.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Unfortunately, it is no longer wearable.
Please enjoy its unique design.
