This is a graceful Fukuro obi
with beautiful seasonal flowers on folding fan motifs, which are embroidered on the brilliant gold background.
Glazing embroidery threads of such as 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Botan'(peony), 'Ume' (plum blossom) and 'Nadeshiko'(dianthus) shine, and the modest gold threads add elegance to it.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added gorgeously.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has no folding lines and seems to be unworn.
The tiny stain is near the 'Maegara' (front patterned part), but not prominent and not disturbing for wearing. For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
