This is an elegant Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of 'matsu'(pine tree) and stream, which is woven.
It also has "HATSURIKOU"(small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi
with tightly folded end of belt part).
'Maegara'(front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
It is rather soft compared to other Japanese Tsume tsuzure
obi.(It could be made in China.)
Discoloration can be seen on the background overall. Especially, discoloration of both edges are rather noticeable.
There are other couple of flaws such as small snags.
Please check detail photos.
Slight folding lines can be seen, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.
Also, it has mold smell.
It has a bit of aged feeling, but it's still wearable enough with very good condition if you are familiar with secondhand items.
Please enjoy its graceful fashion!
