Kimono with wild chrysanthemum pattern, which is dyed with Itome-Yuzen technique on the chic red-yellowish colored background.
Technique of Ushikubi Tsumugi
is intangible cultural asset of Ishikawa prefecture.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch with its rustic feeling of doupion, which is similar to Ushikubi tsumugi.
There is a signature of the dyer on right front panel.
Beside patinas on the pattern as the figure shown, it has slight discoloration on the lining.
