This is a vintage Sanpo 'walking' kimono with kasuri-like stripe pattern with ume 'plum blossom' and kiku 'chrysanthemum' flowers, which are dyed.
* Sanpo Kimono has a distinctive Komon
Kimono pattern with ryozuma(mirror image) design on right and left front panels, which are often seen on kimonos made before the WWII*
Textile is kinsha(fine crepe silk) silk, and it has very soft touch.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has some tiny stains, but for a vintage item, it is in very good condition overall.
Please see photos for details.
This still would be a very charming item to wear!
