This is a vintage Irotomesode
with a design of 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and orchid, which is dyed.
It has a taisho roman atmosphere.
Main parts are finely embroidered.
It is an impressive piece with its melancholic color combination among the gracefulness.
Textile is glossy 'Monkinsha'(fine crepe with damask effect) silk with woven 'Tachibana' (Japanese green citrus) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern and has very soft touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
Sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
The stains are prominent on the left front panel(B).
There are some other flaws such as discoloration on its base.
