This is a lovely Nagoya obi
with charming flower circle pattern which has 'Botan'(peony), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) etc, which is woven on the blue woven cloud patterned background.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
There are prominent folding lines on one side of 'maegara' (front patterned part).
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), the other Maegara will show.
(There is no mark on the sheet and photo.)
The stain on 'tare'(wide end) is faint.
There is a prominent white stain on the 'tesaki'(narrow end).
There is also minor snags on the color threads.

Although it has some sense of use, it is still such an elegant obi which we would like you to enjoy wearing.
