This is a beautiful Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi
with botan(peony) and ayame(sweet flag) on Jigami(paper cut of shape of fan or umbrella etc.) pattern, which is woven.
It also has "HATSURIKOU" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of Tsume tsuzure
'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
It has a small stain on the tare area, which might be disturbing.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It's still tie-able enough with very good condition if you don't mind those small flaws.
This chic piece can be worn extensively depending on various obis stylishly and elegantly.
