This is a chic asa kimono with rusty Kasuri
pattern, which is woven with double ikat technique on the deep colored background.
Textile is relatively thick asa (ramie) with hand spun and woven.
It has a little stiff touch maybe by glue, but has refreshing feeling with its light touch of asa.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar), and this item is hand-sewn.
It comes with shoulder pad and 'ishiki-ate'(lining fabric around hip part).
It has tear and snags on left front panel(B C).
It remains retailed seams from the sleeve to side(D).
Beside the wear and stain, it has discoloration on the shoulder pat and ishiki-ate.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Though it is not suitable for wearing, we would like you to enjoy this refreshing asa atmosphere.
*In Japanese, 'asa' includes below three kinds of material. You must feel it strange that 'linen' is included.
'Taima' = Hemp
'Karamushi','Choma' = Ramie
'Ama' = Linen
