This is an antique cotton furoshiki of early Meiji period(1868-1912).
It has a design of kamon and 'tabane-noshi'(bundled paper strips) pattern, which is dyed with Tsutsugaki
It was used as Furoshiki(wrapping cloth).
Textile is hand spun and hand woven rather thick cotton. It seems to be washed many times. That made this piece very soft and comfortable touch.
There are some flaws such as tears and discoloration.
