This is an alluring Nagoya obi
pattern, which is dyed elegantly.
The contrast of the firm shibori(tie-dyed) and curving lines by sumi(ink) are impressive.
Textile is chirimen (crepe) silk with textured grain.
Although it's not mentioned on the sheet and photo, there are slight folding lines.
The stain and dyestuff on the 'otaiko'(square bow) will not be noticeable when you tie it.
The stain on the 'maegara' (front patterned part) is prominent. It may be noticeable when you tie it.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), the stain will be hidden.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
It is such a charming design which we would like you to enjoy wearing.
