This is a Fukuro obi
with 'oshidori'(mandurin duck), 'peony' (botan) and 'ume'(Japanese plum) on 'doukyo'(copper mirror) pattern, which are woven.
This woven technique gives three dimensional look and gorgeousness to this piece.
Textile is exquisite silk.
It has snags overall, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.
However, they are small and not so prominent, when tied.
There are other couple of flaws such as slight folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
Please enjoy this gorgeous design perfect for celebratory occasions!
