This is a sophisticated Houmongi
with a beautiful vase pattern, which is elaborately embroidered.
This piece was embroidered by Kiju Fukuda, who is titled as the owner of important intangible cultural heritage of embroidery.
It has a name 'Kisaburo'(he always signs his father's name) on right front panel.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and glossy touch.
Basting stitches remain, and it seems just after cleaning or not-sused.
It has couple of very small dyestuff stains, but as a whole it is nearly in excellent condition.
Enjoy its one-of-a-kind piece!
*We are sorry but its real color is little bit greenish than the photos.
