This is a fabulous Fukuro obi
with wave lines and square paper pattern, which is woven.
Its elegant brilliance comes from the golden and silver foiled threads which are woven.
Textile is exquisite light silk.
Although it doesn't bother to wear it, there are some flaws such as a slight folding line, patinas on the solid area.

Although it's not mentioned on the sheet and photos, there is a relatively large snag on the 'otaiko'(square bow) area.
The snag can be hidden when you tie it.
It is an obi with refine design which can be worn for formal use.
