This is a set of magnificent vintage black Furisode
This gorgeous vintage Furisode
has matsu(pine tree), flower arabesque of bridge pattern, which is dynamically dyed.
Not only lots of gold dyestuff but also fine embroidery work with marvelous three dimensional look effect are used, and this piece has exceptionally gorgeous atmosphere.
How many laborious hours had been added to make this elaborate piece...?
It can be tell the designer's spirit!
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The lapel is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
It has five dyed kamon(family crest).
Coatings on metallic threads used on gold dyestuff have been rubbed off here and there(I).
This piece seems to be easily taken and could be easily come off in the future.
Small dyestuff(B) can be seen on the left front.
There are some other flaws such as slight discoloration(H).

Discoloration can be seen around the kamon(family crest) as well, although those are not indicated on the figure.
This is a charming juban(undergarment) for Furisode.
Lovely large temari(ball of cotton) is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique on the bright vermilion red colored background.
Fine embroidery work is added with shiny colored threads on parts of the pattern.
Textile is glossy silk with damask effect(rinzu) of woven koaoi(mallow) pattern, and it has soft touch.
Han-eri(added collar) is not attached.
The flaw like draft(D) remains on the left front and the left sleeve.
Patinas(A) can be seen prominently on the cotton collar.

Discoloration caused by patinas can be seen as well, although it's not indicated on the figure.
It's difficult to determine if this is wearable or not because of the degradation of the gold dyestuff, but the design is so marvelous as not to be seen so often.
Those flaws could be considered as a part of the design!
