This is a magnificent Houmongi
Kimono with 'shou-chiku-bai'(auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom), kiku(chrysanthemum), sakura(cherry blossom), and old houses design, which is dyed on the 'somewake'(dyed with separate design) patterned background.
Its sophisticated design with dye and fine drawn work technique(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) are impressive.
On the left hakkake(lower part of lining), it has dyed design of 'shou-chiku-bai'(auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) and the old houses.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has very small but prominent stain(B) on the right sleeve.
There are some snags(D) on the back side.
Lining is also discolored.
It's still wearable enough with very good condition if you don't mind those small flaws.
