This is a lovely Nagoya obi
with cloud pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique on the soft colored background.
Textile is exquisite thin glossy silk with woven wood-grain pattern, and it has soft touch.
It has a relatively large stain(1st photo) on the otaiko(square bow).
Stains(B) can be seen prominently on a side of maegara(front pattern).
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), it will not show.
There are some other flaws such as patinas and folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Though there are some flaws as we mentioned as above, it is a still lovely piece to enjoy casually.
