This glamorous Hon-Furisode from Showa period (1926- 1989) has large flower pattern, which is dyed on the shibori(tie-dyed) peacock's feather.
Lovely kiku(chrysanthemum) arabesque and Paulownia arabesque are designed on the flowers.
With its dynamic design with retro atmosphere is impressive.
The pattern is even on hakkake(lower part of lining), and it appears elegantly as you walk.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The lapel is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
It has a dyed kamon(family crest) on the nape.
Bottom is lightly padded with cotton, and it is worn with the bottom trailing along the floor.
Some of the coatings on metallic threads have been rubbed off(E).
Discoloration(C) can be seen prominently on the base.
Especially discoloration caused by patinas on the lining(H) are prominent.
Some of the stitches are becoming loose from the right sleeve seam(G).
