This is a FABULOUS Irotomesode
with enchanting Heian scroll pattern, which is dyed and embroidered by Kiju Fukuda. He is titled as the owner of important intangible cultural heritage of embroidery.
The Rakkan signature of 'Kisaburo' is being taken over by Kiju in respect of his father, Kisaburo Morita, whom also was Kiju's teacher.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
There are three kamons dyed out.
It has basting stitches, so it may be after being cleaned.
It is discolored from being stored for a long time, especially on shoulder line and the parts where sleeves connect the bodice.
It may be unsuitable as a formal garment due to the condition, but if you do not mind such flaws, it may still be wearable.
