This alluring Kawashima Nagoya obi
has lovely floret pattern, which is woven on the bright colored background.
Shiny gold foiled threads are used on the pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Along the tare end, there are three golden lines and a gunpai-mark(referee's fan) , which are distinct features of textile woven by Kawashima Weaving Co, one of the most famous obi weavers in Kyoto.
Though there are tiny snags(1st photo) and slight stains(2nd photo), those are not so prominent when it's tied.
It has uneven lines of weaving at places(A).
There are some other flaws such as slight discoloration and folding lines.
