This alluring hitoe(not lined) dyed-tsumugi Houmongi
kimono has elegant clematis pattern, which are dyed.
Textile is exquisite Tsumugi
silk and has soft and nubby touch.
The lapel is hiro-eri(wide lapel).
This is hand sewn.
Ro silk is used for the lining of the collar and silk 'ishiki-ate'(lining fabric around hip part) is attached.
There are tiny patinas(B) on the left front.
Discoloration can be see on the lower back side(D).
As the photo shown, it's discolored slight brownish color, but discoloration can be seen slightly and expanded.
There are some other flaws such as wear ans stains.

It is no longer wearable at formal occasions because of the discoloration on the back side, but it is still a graceful piece to enjoy its classical design.
