This is a Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with tasteful saucer and bamboo container motifs, which are made of bagworm.
This piece is made by one of the most famous bagworm crafter in Japan.
Textile is exquisite silk and has rather crisp and nubby touch.
There is no maegara( front patterned part) on both sides.
There is a name of the designer near tare part.
It has rather prominent discolorations on the base color such as tare part.
Also, name part is prominently discolored, although the flaw is not indicated on the figure. (Please check the flaw by photos!)
Please check detail photos.
It has a worn-out feeling, but there is not very serious damage for wearing.
Its design with plenty of un-patterned space allows it to be matched with many different kimonos.
