This is an alluring vintage Maru obi
with lovely kiku(chrysanthemum) pattern, which are woven on the chic colored background.
Its woven technique like 'karaori'(woven thickly in Chinese style) is call enuki(different colored weft) without twist has given luster to the flowers.
Pattern is placed upside down, which is suitable for Hikinuki knot style.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
As the figure shown, it has folding lines and a tear on the tare end(1st photo).
There are some other flaws such as snags and streak line(A).
