This is an unique sioze Nagoya obi
with fava bean and kanji character design, which are embroidered on the chic colored background.
Textile is sioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of sioze silk.
(Relatively stiff lining is added inside).
Maegara(front patterned part) is in one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
Discoloration(2nd photo) can be seen prominently on otaiko(square bow) and on creases of the lower otaiko.
Stain on otaiko(square bow) is slight but relatively large(1st photo).
Lining of tare end part is creased and folded down(A).
Pin holes by unpicked basting stitches can be seen(B).
There are some other flaws such as dim stain(C) and folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although not indicated, there are some streak frays because of the sioze textile.
Enjoy this unique design fashionably!
